Use this effervescent multivitamin, as its name suggests, as a boost. Taken first thing in the morning in a good-sized volume of water (300-500ml), it’s going to do two things.
First, it will start hydrating you after several hours of zero fluid intake.
Second, it’s going to flood your body with 12 important vitamins and minerals including vital Vitamins B12 (2.5ug, which is 250% of minimum daily dose), B1, B2 and B6, C and D3 as well as magnesium and calcium.
There are 20 orange-flavoured effervescent tablets per tube, each weighing 4g, so that has you covered for nearly three weeks. The flavour is very much like other orange-flavoured fizzies on the market.
The key differences for Go! Vitality Boost compared to other Boost effervescent tablets are its higher Vit B12 value (2.5ug versus average 1ug) and marginally higher Vit C (80 mg vs 60 mg).
Go! is made from 29 ingredients including a few that some people might be less keen on from a calorie and salt viewpoint: sucrose, corn starch, sodium chloride and aspartame are used for flavouring; the latter being most contentious. A fifth ingredient, colourant Sunset Yellow FCF, is mentioned in a warning on the tube as possibly having an adverse effect on attention in children. Unlike Turbovite, also from Nativa, it contains no caffeine. It’s suitable for vegetarians.
