About Dawid Mocke

Dawid Mocke is currently the World Surfski Series Champion. He started open ocean surfski racing in 2003 and has been a dominant force ever since with 24 international wins, securing four World Series titles in 2012. He lives by the maxim that we should do what we love and love what we do; he firmly believes that our talents and passions should guide our careers. To this end he started an ocean paddling surfski school in 2003 and later on in 2007 opened up a paddling retail outlet along with a paddling brand under his own name. He has made a profession where no-one believed there could be one, and has been instrumental in its national and worldwide growth. None of the above is in the pursuit of fame or money; he does it because he loves it. Dawid is married to 2008 Olympian Nikki Mocke and together they have two children: Samuel (3 years) and Sarah (4 months).
