Zofingen Bags 2014 Long Distance Duathlon Worlds

The International Triathlon Union (ITU) is pleased to announce it has awarded the ITU Powerman 2014 Long Distance Duathlon World Championships to Zofingen, Switzerland. Belgian proves supremacy in Long Distance Duathlon

Vansteelant wins fourth Long Distance Duathlon World Champs Belgium’s Joerie Vansteelant proved his supremacy in Long Distance Duathlon is far from over after charging to his fourth consecutive World Championship title in Zofingen today. Vansteelant controlled his pace on the first 10km run and challenging 150km bike before smashing the final 30km run ahead of silver medallist and compatriot Rob Woestenborghs and Denmark’s Soren Bystrup, who took third.
