This smoothie is one of the best you can get as it’s also packed with nutrients from the spirulina. Chia seeds may be relatively new to Westerners but were used by the Aztecs for generations. Chia is known for the way in which it absorbs toxins expelled by the liver, is high in Omega-3 and can help stabilise your blood sugar.
Goji berries (1 tbsp)
Chia seeds (1 tsp)
¼ Fresh pineapple, peeled
Chocolate nibs (1 tbsp)
Spirulina (1 tsp)
1 x Frozen banana
3 x Fresh apples squeezed through juice extractor
Pour the apple juice and all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
